Pitch in for a Roadside Clean Up Campaign

Update:
Thanks to all the volunteers who have participated in the past 13 years to help Pitch in and Clean-up Litter.

A Special thanks to Limerick Environmental Services for their generosity in supplying waste removal for this program/campaign.

The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has postponed the “Day of Action on Litter” to the public and corporate clean-ups until later in the year during Waste reduction Week, which takes place October 19-25, 2020.

PLEASE DO NOT LITTER

Fines have been issued for illegal dumping!

For the month of May 2020, residents of Elizabethtown-Kitley who choose to perform Roadside Clean Up are asked to take the collected refuse to the Waste Disposal Site (8468 County Rd 7) or to a disposal bin located behind the Lyn Fire Hall (44 Main St E.) for free disposal.  North End Residents will be permitted to place roadside refuse along side their regular household waste on regular collection days. Roadside refuse should be collect and placed in clear plastic garbage bags to help distinguish between regular household waste.

Thanks to all the volunteers for the past 13 years to help make this program a success.

A Special thanks to Limerick Environmental Services for their generosity in supplying waste removal for this program/campaign.
